Light Requirements

Anthuriums thrive in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while low light may reduce blooming. East or north-facing windows are ideal.

Watering

Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy.

Humidity

Being tropical plants, Anthuriums prefer high humidity. Place a humidity tray nearby, mist the leaves occasionally, or use a humidifier for optimal growth.

Temperature

Maintain a warm environment between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Fertilizing

Feed your Anthurium with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 6-8 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding during the dormant winter months.

Common Issues and Solutions

• Brown Leaf Tips: Caused by low humidity or over-fertilizing. Increase humidity and adjust fertilizer usage.
• Yellowing Leaves: Often due to overwatering or insufficient light. Check soil moisture and adjust light exposure.
• No Blooms: May result from inadequate light, low humidity, or lack of nutrients. Improve conditions for better flowering.
